There’s something about a historic main street in small-town America that evokes a picturesque sense of beauty and comfort — and lots of contests. Once again Downtown Franklin has grabbed national attention and is in the running for yet another online readers’ poll, USA Today’s 10 Best Main Streets!
The popular news outlet enlisted a panel of main street and downtown revitalization experts to pick 20 nominees for the competition before asking readers to vote daily for their favorite throughout the month of June.
Downtown Franklin has earned a number of accolades over the years, from Garden & Gun’s “Best Southern Town” to “Best Small Town in Tennessee,” “Most Romantic Main Street” and plenty of other notable mentions.
If you love our beautiful architecture, history and locally-owned businesses and community, then help us keep our bragging rights by voting once a day for Downtown Franklin until Monday, June 20 at 12PM ET.
