Steak & Burger Dinner with Inky Johnson
Inquoris “Inky” Johnson, former University of Tennessee football defensive back, will speak at the 28th Annual Steak & Burger Dinner benefitting the Fairview and Franklin Boys & Girls Clubs. Johnson will share his inspiring journey following a career ending injury.
September 9, 2006, started as a normal college football game in Neyland Stadium. For Johnson, though, the game changed everything. A routine tackle turned into a life-threatening injury, and nothing has been normal for Johnson ever since. Johnson’s right arm was paralyzed, and he was left suffering from pain daily. While Johnson’s dream to play professional sports was crushed, his spirit was not.
