The Purple Butterfly and Franklin on Foot tours are co-hosting a special event for children ages 3-5 and 6-12 on Saturday, July 21 at 9 a.m to 11 a.m.

Help your children learn about Franklin and the Civil War by joining this fun event. Young sleuths will hunt for architectural objects, make rubbings, investigate cannons and open their eyes to the rich details of historic Franklin.

Cost is $19.50 per child and includes:

• Scavenger Hunt in Downtown Franklin.
• “I Spy” booklet, commemorative badge and special sleuth pencil ($11 value).
• Tour guides ($9 value).
• Cotton twill ball caps with child’s name embroidered – either in child’s handwriting or a font ($15 value).
• After-adventure party with sharing and refreshments ($ priceless).

Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
