Dogs Days of Summer in Downtown Franklin

SHOP LOCAL. SUPPORT LOCAL. More than 20 downtown Franklin businesses will support local charities on Tuesday, August 27 through their sales, as part of a “Dog Days of Summer" event designed to engage the community  with local non-profits! Locations include both merchants and restaurants. Participating DFA businesses will donate 10-15 percent of sales between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. to a non-profit of their choice--and many will leave their doors open later for the event. October’s Art Scene Introduces New Host Sites, Artists

  The first week of October kicks off a new quarter for downtown Franklin’s monthly crawl, bringing in a host of new sites and supplementary artists this Friday, Oct. 5. The Franklin Art Scene carries more than 30 locations with it, taking participants from the antique district and down Columbia Avenue to Main Street and the Factory at Franklin. September’s one-year anniversary brought more than 1,500 patrons to the free event, and many of the galleries and working studios offered live music for the milestone month.
