PlanapaloozaTM is a code demonstration and design process where stakeholders and the community are invited to work directly with a multidisciplinary consultant team. An opening presentation and hands-on workshop will kick off the event on Tuesday, February 19th at 6:00pm. The presentation will provide the community with an understanding of the project and the process by which the zoning ordinance is being updated. Following the presentation, a citizen workshop will allow the community to provide input on existing and future development in Franklin. On Wednesday, February 20th, round table discussions will be held on topics such as neighborhood character, architecture and land useThroughout the event, TPUDC’s planners will be testing the draft zoning ordinance through prototypical urban design scenarios. PlanapaloozaTM will conclude with a work-in-progress presentation on Friday, February 22nd at 3:00pm All events will take place in City Hall (109 3rd Avenue South) and are open to the public. *The training room or Community Development Conference Room will be open all day until 9:00 pm where TPUDC’s planners will be testing prototypical urban design scenarios.

3:00-5:00pm: Work-In-Progress Presentation
*The training room will remain open until noon to allow the community an opportunity to provide input if they are unable to make the scheduled events.
