Fourth of July celebrations are moving back to downtown Franklin’s square this year!

The 2013 festivities, coordinated by The Franklin Lions Club and Tennessee Events in conjunction with the City of Franklin, will begin at 10 a.m. on the Public Square. The day will bursting with fun-filled activities–including live music, children’s activities, food and much more! Plus, this year there will be an expanded craft vendor section featuring high-quality, handmade items.

For the kids:
The Kid’s Zone will keep the little ones entertained with an area that includes inflatables, slides, climbing walls a petting zoo & pony rides.  The “Children’s Parade” will begin at 5 p.m. (Children will begin lining up at a designated marked location at 4:45 p.m.) and there will be prizes for best costume, decorated bikes and wagons. Pets are welcome!

Fireworks will begin when it gets dark at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm.

The 2012 festival drew an estimated 10,000 people for the one day event. The event begins at 10 a.m. and extends through 8 p.m.
