The Franklin Theatre Songwriter Series gets a stunning new dimension this month with a full string quartet. Chart-topping Kentucky singer-songwriter Elvie Shane, whose “My Boy” took country music by storm, hosts an intimate evening of original music alongside Nashville Basement Stage songwriters, all accompanied by La Vie Quartet, Nashville’s premier conservatory-trained string quartet known for their classical-contemporary crossover style. Expect honest songs, a few surprises, and the kind of one-of-a-kind evening that only happens in a 300-seat room in Franklin.
