City Hall Questionnaire 2023

The City of Franklin has been working on a new City Hall development plan for several years. In mid January, the Board of Mayor and Aldermen received a proposal from a local developer to swap the City Hall property with another property, owned by the developer. In the January BOMA work session, several aldermen expressed wanting to hear from the Downtown Franklin Association regarding this matter. The Heritage Foundation and Downtown Franklin Association promised city leaders it would help with due diligence on this important prospect. We vowed to: (1) consult the National Trust for Historic Preservation, (2) consult the Main Street America organization, (3) survey our members. This is only the first step to your voice being heard as part of these considerations. Please complete this brief survey by February 20, 2023. Please also consider attending the February 14th BOMA work session at 5:00 pm in the City Hall board room. The board will be reviewing and discussing the study area and criteria for evaluating alternative sites for City Hall.
