Gray’s on Main will serve a special Elvis-themed cocktail and dessert in honor of this weekend’s festival!

We are ALL SHOOK UP because word on the street is that Elvis is BACK in the building–this weekend in downtown Franklin!

The Nashville Elvis Festival will take place this Thursday, March 30 through Sunday, April 2– just 20 miles south of Music City.

Fans of “the King” will gather on America’s Favorite Main Street for an event unlike any other in celebration of the music and legacy of Elvis Presley. The weekend will consist of live music performances, celebrity appearances, on-stage interviews with Elvis’ friends and band members and an Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist competition.

In the spirit of the festival, several DFA members will be honoring the King of Rock and Roll in their own special ways! Triple Crown Bakery will feature limited-edition Elvis decorated cookies.  The team at Gray’s on Main have taken a page from Elvis’ book with their Love Me Tender cocktail and Hound Dog Cake. The Juice Bar will be whipping up peanut butter and banana smoothies in honor of the King’s favorite snack! Lastly, Pieology will donate gift cards as door prizes for the event at the Franklin Theatre.

The festival kicks off with a VIP event at Paragon Studios– one of the nation’s top recording studios– right here in Franklin. The studio is popular with many country music artists, including Carrie Underwood, Dolly Parton, Faith Hill, Keith Urban, Amy Grant, Tim McGraw and many more.

The fun continues through the weekend at the historic Franklin Theatre with the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. Come watch as some of the best Elvis tribute artist battle it out on Friday and Saturday to advance to Graceland’s Ultimate Elvis® Tribute Artist Contest™ in Memphis in August 2017.

Following each round of the contest, there will be a conversation session with those who knew Elvis personally. Special guests include iconic female vocalist Brenda Lee, his former girlfriend Sandy Martindale, Elvis’ best friend and original Memphis Mafia member Jerry Schilling and more.

In true Elvis fashion, the party will continue through the night! Gray’s on Main will host the late-night party on both Friday and Saturday, from 9 to midnight. The party will feature (of course!) an all-Elvis theme and plenty of your favorite Elvis tunes. Tickets are $10 at the door.

The festival wraps up Sunday morning with Elvis Gospel Live, a performance by several past Ultimate Elvis® Tribute Artist Contest™ winners, such as Bill Cherry, Dean Z and Jay Dupuis of the Grammy Award winning gospel music of Elvis Presley.

Get your tickets for what is sure to be an entertaining weekend in downtown Franklin! Tickets are available here for the tribute contest, conversation sessions, nightly performances and Sunday’s gospel showcase.
