Downtown Franklin Salutes Wives of Deployed Soldiers with Third Annual Christmas Celebration

December 13, 2016

This next Tuesday, December 13th, Parks on Main and our downtown merchants are so pleased to once again welcome more than two dozen Ft. Campbell wives’ of our deployed soldiers, for a day of shopping, exploring and experiencing our community … giving us the opportunity to recognize these families for their service and sacrifice during this Christmas season.

Thank you to our downtown merchants who’ve come together this year to make this a really special day … offering special gifts, discounts, chocolate, wine and Champaign, gift wrapping and much more.

This year’s event will begin when they arrive at Puckett’s Boat House via charter bus, where owner’s Andy & Jan Marshall will host a welcome lunch. From there, they’ll begin with another welcome at the Franklin Visitor’s Center where they’ll start their day of shopping and enjoying our Downtown Franklin just after noontime. They’ll all be wearing name tags, so they’ll be easy to recognize!

We invite ALL of our downtown merchants to join us as we conclude their special day with a final send-off reception at Parks on Main at 2:30 pm where Mayor Ken Moore and his wife, Linda, will join us to share a few words.

Please call or email Kim Henderson @ 615-881-9053, kim@henderson-team.com, with any questions.
