In downtown Franklin, our small business owners thrive on the word “community.” And that’s why more than 20 merchants will support local charities on Friday, Feb. 8 through their sales as part of the “Open Your Heart” promotion coordinated by the Downtown Franklin Association (DFA).

The participating DFA businesses will leave their doors open later and donate 15 percent of sales between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. to a non-profit organization of their choice.

The “Open Your Heart” was designed to show support for community organizations through a collaborative effort among downtown merchants. This is the second time the DFA has coordinated a similar event. Last year, the “Dog Days of Summer” promotion collectively donated more than $7,000!

Please join us in downtown Franklin on Friday, Feb. 8 from 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. to support these charities and honor these merchants’ giving spirit.
