Hello everyone, I’m Dawn from The Nashville Mom and I am so excited to explore my hometown of Franklin with you! My family and I are so happy to call Franklin home and love the people and places of our small town. My daughter and I love having breakfast at Merridee’s Breadbasket. There’s nothing better than starting the day with Merridee’s enormous cinnamon rolls and coffee. My daughter loves to sit near the window by the bakery to watch the chefs make their magical pies!

The Franklin Visitors’ Center is always our first stop when we are exploring town for the day. The friendly staff always have the insight on the daily activities and live music. You can also pick up brochures, discount tickets for the Civil War homes in the area as well as purchase local merchandise.

Next up is Tin Cottage, this bright and cheerful gift shop has a little something for everyone on your list! We love their Franklin tees, hats, home goods, stationary and my daughter always has to have one of their sparkly unicorn bath bombs!

You can’t leave Tin Cottage without taking a picture with their HAPPY wall!

I love the old “general store” feel that White’s Mercantile gives its customers. White’s has with local goods, children’s toys and clothing, jewelry, gift items and more!

Whenever we are in downtown Franklin, it’s a little tradition to pick out a treat from White’s candy jar.

The Franklin Theatre is a beloved space in downtown offering movies, plays, live music, fundraisers and more. This revitalized space has been a Franklin cultural icon since it’s inception in 1937.

Finnleys Boutique is the perfect place to shop for a new outfit, shoes and affordable jewelry. We can’t resist their Mommy and Me collection! Finnleys also hosts Girls’ Nights Out often with special discounts, sips and snacks.

If you’re in need of a dose of fun, make sure to stop by Magpies Girl! Everything inside the bubblegum pink door will make you smile including unicorn everything, the cutest girl’s clothing and their photo booth area! Not only is Magpies a great addition to Franklin’s retail scene, they also host family-friendly events regularly.
